WARNING UBER GEEKERY.
Back in 1996 I used to play Sim City all day.
This person spent 3 years designing a super high density city that is near perfect.
It’s mental, it has no roads and only uses subways and it’s as dense as it could possibly be, I guess it’s pretty unrealistic but still super interesting.
Found out about it on Super Colossal, he has written a great article about it too, well worth a read.
Mini-basketball transporter thing: the most unbelievably awesome lego built thing I have ever seen!
This is my mouse activity at work today. The dot’s are where my mouse stops. The bigger it is the longer it stopped.
I got the script that does this from this guy, read the comments, there is a link.
So I made a form (fill it in you may get free stuff)
Then I did all the backend database stuff (never done that before)
And now it’s gone live and i’m geeking out watching it fill up with names

I want this. I’ll have to get an iPhone first. It’s all these apps that sell it for me… In june I wondered how long I’d able to hold. Not much longer I tell you.
Just discovered a totally crazy shortcut on OSX if you push F5 ( or fn + F5) while the cursor is over a word you’re typing a textbox/field then it shows you all the words you can make with what you have!
